Teaching Asian American Narratives through Literature

Asian American representation is too often missing from classrooms, but educators can incorporate Asian American perspectives through literature to expand the understanding of challenges that Asian Americans had and continue to face. Statement on United States Supreme Court Affirmative Action Ruling

Bucking decades of precedent, the United States Supreme Court has struck down affirmative action, leaving universities unable to consider race as a factor in their admissions process. The Court heard arguments in two cases brought against Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill by Students for Fair Admissions, which believed the schools’ admission processes using affirmative action discriminated against

Asian American applicants.
