Willa Qian represents publicly traded and privately held companies, foreign corporations, private equity firms, startups, private investors, and directors and officers. Her practice is concentrated in corporate law with particular emphasis on corporate finance, capital markets, securities registrations, SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate compliance and structure, fund formation, general corporate matters and real estate related transactions.
Ms. Qian has also specialized in the area of clean technology and her firm has represented both American and Chinese companies. Willa has served on the advisory boards of angel groups, accelerators, and emerging companies. She also judges business plan and international finance competitions.
Ms. Qian received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, J.D. from University of Miami School of Law, and attended the L.L.M. program at Beijing University. She is admitted to practice law in California and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
