Reuben Wong
Attorney Reuben S. F. Wong, founded the Law Offices of Reuben S. F. Wong in 1964 and the firm serves individuals, families and businesses in legal matters regarding complex real estate transactions and disputes, effective estate planning, and concerns in business and commercial law.
For more than 19 years, Mr. Wong served as Harry Weinberg’s personal attorney. Mr. Weinberg was one of the largest individual philanthropists in Hawaii and was listed in the top 50 of the wealthiest individuals in the country. Mr. Wong established the foundation that would receive the bulk of Weinberg’s assets when he passed away in 1951. Reuben’s experience in estate planning, wealth preservation and business law has enabled him to ably assist the Weinberg Foundation.
Mr. Wong is also very active in the local Chinese community, including as the former President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He is also a member of the Dai Doo Society, which was formed primarily to serve immigrants from China. Reuben has been on the Board of the 1990 Institute for over 6 years.
